Welcome to The English Wine Tasting Company, where we celebrate the wonderful world of English wines. We host a variety of wine tasting events across Essex and Suffolk, each with unique themes designed to explore the different growing regions, vineyards, grapes and styles of English wine. Our mission is to help you discover a new local favourite while enjoying the flavours and stories behind each bottle.
What Makes Us Special
Fun and friendly host
We don't do stuffy wine tastings! We're here to spread the love for English wine and want all of our tasting events to be fun and relaxed.
Please feel free to swirl, sniff and swish your wine to your hearts content, but if you just want to take a sip and see if you enjoy the flavours, that's fine too! Everyone is welcome.
Carefully selected wines
We carefully select a range of English wines which we think you'll enjoy. Most of our tasting events will include sparkling and still wines in a range of styles and from a variety of vineyards.
Discover local vineyards
As well as telling you about the wines you are tasting, we will also tell you about the growers and producers who created them. Our hope is that you learn something new, and discover a new favourite vineyard!
Join us for a fun and informal tasting journey!
Our tastings are designed for everyone, you don't need any prior wine knowledge. We will talk you through the basic wine tasting steps, but we're more about enjoying the wine and having a good time. We will provide everything you need including water, crisps and a notes page. All you need to do is book your ticket and arrive with an enthusiasm to try something new!
Our Events
Our tasting selection is always changing. All of our events have a theme, whether it's a focus on a particular area of England, a type of wine or grape variety, or something more niche. We regularly update our event selection, so you can be sure you'll always experience something new.
We run events across Essex and Suffolk so we hope you'll be able to find one local to you.
